Located in Jiulongpo, southeast of Huayan Temple, the park mainly serves communities within a 500m radius, including Binxin Central Park, Evergrande Dijing, Yulong Happiness Residence, and Yuejing Mountain Community. Within a 500m radius, there is one secondary school, making the park easily accessible with a large flow of people in the surrounding area. The primary users of the park are elderly people and children, as the surrounding residential areas lack sports facilities to meet their needs. The original site is roughly irregular trapezoidal, with a red line area of 10,005 square meters. The site slopes from northeast to southwest, with a maximum height difference of 10 meters. The usable area for detailed design and utilization is 9,500 square meters. The original driveway can lead to relatively flat areas, which are currently used as parking lots with very low utilization rates.
The design incorporates paper-cutting culture and integrates it with the geographical location, on-site conditions, and the needs of surrounding residents. The park is designed to be a sports and cultural theme park, featuring basketball courts, badminton courts, table tennis courts, and other popular sports facilities. The concept of "national fitness" is introduced based on preliminary research and analysis, considering the needs of different age groups for sports and cultural parks. Facilities such as basketball courts, badminton courts, table tennis courts, fitness equipment circuits, children's fitness areas, and running tracks are designed to fully meet the needs of citizens for sports and fitness. Paper-cutting art is integrated into the park, with traditional silhouette patterns set at the entrance and on the facades of the courts. Additionally, the park has high green coverage, retaining existing trees, in line with ecological principles. Permeable asphalt and eco-friendly materials resembling stone bricks are used for buildings, courts, and activity areas, adhering to the concept of conservation-oriented landscaping. Facilities such as "24-hour libraries," "24-hour unmanned vending machines," and "wireless WIFI" are provided to create an intelligent integrated park, continuing the "smart genes" and providing surrounding community residents with a smart, multi-functional, vibrant sports park for daily leisure, exercise, and gatherings.
