Xishan Park stands as a testament to the rich historical and cultural heritage of Wanzhou City, Chongqing. The plaza space is divided into three sections, each representing a different aspect of Wanzhou's history and development: the main plaza symbolizing the city's past, the secondary plaza reflecting its vibrant present, and the temporal corridor bridging the past and present.
Main Plaza:
Enclosed by a green belt, the main plaza forms a rectangular space surrounded by water on all sides. At its center stands a monument towering approximately 50 meters high, commemorating Wanzhou's history.
Secondary Plaza:
Representing the modern happiness of Wanzhou's people, the secondary plaza features a strip of water features. These water elements, coupled with lighting installations, create dynamic attractions such as water curtain movies and musical fountains, showcasing the lively and bustling atmosphere of the present, juxtaposing the tranquility of the main plaza.
Time Corridor:
Linking the main plaza and secondary plaza, the underground structure provides easy access to plazas without pedestrians having to walk on the road. Representing the past and connecting with the secondary plaza representing the present, the temporal corridor symbolizes the endless flow of history.
